Who is better?

Hobbes definitely. Garfield is interesting, and by that I mean interesting to read, then make fun of him. Garfield sucks.

If this were a vote between Hobbes and late 80's-early 90's-era Garfield, it'd actually be pretty tough. But the clear winner is Hobbes, and it all comes down to their characters.



Garfield. He eats. He sleeps. He hates Mondays. That's his entire character right there. You practically need to know nothing more about him.



Hobbes is more. Hobbes is like that friend everyone has that's calm, collected, and tries to stay out of all the wacky stuff.



Garfield, on the other hand, just hates everything. You should count how many times they say "hate" in a Garfield book. It's surprising.



So yeah, my vote may be biased considering I RUN a Calvin and Hobbes website, but my vote goes to Hobbes.
