This time I take the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, thanks to my friend Donna McKay! I should have edited my post on Wednesday, but never got around to doing it. As such, these are the consequences. As an apology, I’ve donated $50 to ALS. I hope you’ll forgive me!
Well guys, after being challenged Chris Gobbett steps up to the plate. Only this time, with a twist: Picpak gets dumped again with a bucket of Barq’s! Who could let this terrible crime go without punishment?!? Check it out below.
Check it out, it’s my latest entry to Jon Esparza’s infamous Crazy Cartoon Experiment! This one involved drawing a cereal box starring a monster. And what’s more scary than dubstep? The name is a play on the Skrillex song “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites”. And there you have it…the most obscure CCE submission ever. Be sure to check out the rest here, and view Jon’s other cartoons as well! Take care!
Check out my submission for Jon Esparza’s Crazy Cartoon Experiment 5! The idea was to draw your favorite SNL skit as reenacted by fairytale or mythological characters. I chose the Sean Connery on Jeopardy skit, with Sean Connery as Tinkerbell. Click to enlarge. You can check out the rest here. Enjoy!
I’ve got good news and bad news! The bad news is, Daniel is going to stop updating Goober and Cindy. But the good news is, I’ve got a great guest strip for you to check out! Be sure to check it out and wish Daniel well on his endeavors.
Click on the strip to enlarge it. Thanks!
Over the past two months, Jon Esparza and I have been running Crazy in Pink, a Kickstarter project to create animations based on Jon and I’s cartoons. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to successfully fund the project.
In fact, we didn’t even come close. We raised 11% of our intended goal.
We aren’t sure what we did wrong. We talked about it constantly on social media and through crowdfunding websites. Perhaps we should have tried outside of social networks and use alternative methods. Fact is, we’ve seen people with half the fanbase and promotion we have reach goals that were the same prices. After the money we would have reserved for prizes and Kickstarter’s share we were working on a tight budget to begin with, although no one else seemed to understand.
Don’t worry though, this isn’t the end for Crazy in Pink. What we discovered is that we do have supportive fans…they’re just poor, I guess. We’ll be coming up with alternate ways to bring the project alive after all.
