That’s right folks! Tomorrow marks TWENTY YEARS of Picpak comics! Are you excited? Actually, Picpak’s history is more complicated. I started drawing him in 1996 (I was 5!) but only rarely. In 1999 I revisited him and began drawing him in comics, the first of were actually earlier than May 2; it wasn’t until then that I began keeping track of the dates and compiling them in books. The “books” are essentially piles of paper stapled together with covers and comics drawn throughout. These comics are what make up “Way Back Wednesdays”. Here’s a sneak peek:

One of the coolest things I did was get my friends in Grade 6 to write something about Picpak on the book, which you can see on the cover of “The Many Impossibilities of Picpak Dog”. These days it’s all digital, but I look back at these and reminiscence doing them. Maybe that’s a sign to release Picpak 3!

In any case, it’s been a pleasure to entertain all of you over the years. Here’s to 20 more years of comics!
